Israeli occupiers carried out 19 attacks against Palestinians across the occupied West Bank from early Friday until around noon, targeting olive farmers, trees, crops, livestock and vehicles, according to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, Anadolu reports.

The commission said its preliminary monitoring, based on field reports, showed a surge in attacks during the olive harvest season, including assaults on farmers and the burning and uprooting of olive trees.

“The attacks included torching a vehicle during an assault on farmers in Tell, uprooting more than 50 olive trees in Qusra and targeting olive pickers in Jurish, Beita, Naqoura, Birzeit, Deir Ibzi and Far’ata,” according to the commission.

“Occupiers also opened fire in Deir Ballut, while a farmer was injured in Kafr ad-Dik,” the commission said.

“An elderly Palestinian woman was injured in Birin, east of Hebron, after occupiers unleashed dogs at farmers, while sheep were stolen in Ein Qiniya,” according to the commission.

A Palestinian man and his child were also assaulted and their vehicle stolen in Yabroud, while vehicles came under attack in Sarda and Al-Rayhan.

Separately, Wafa news agency reported that Israeli occupiers attacked Palestinians harvesting olives near Jurish, north of Nablus, damaging the crop.

Occupiers also set fire to olive trees in Wadi al-Shaer, between Salfit and the village of Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, according to local sources.

Near Ramallah, Israeli forces fired tear gas at olive pickers in the Wadi al-Lubban and Gharaba areas east of Abwein and prevented farmers from reaching their land, Wafa reported.

Dozens of occupiers also stormed an area between Sarda and Al-Rayhan north of Ramallah, threw stones at Palestinian vehicles and fired live ammunition into the air, damaging a memorial at the site.

In Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, occupiers released their livestock onto Palestinian land in Khirbet Umm al-Khair, threatening grazing areas and crops, Wafa said.

The Palestinian olive harvest season began on Sept. 20. The Agriculture Ministry expects about 21,000 tons of olive oil to be produced during the current season.

The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission said more than 45,000 trees were cut down or damaged across the West Bank during the first half of 2026, including more than 26,000 olive trees.

Since October 2023, Israeli forces and occupiers have intensified attacks against Palestinians and their property across the occupied West Bank. Palestinian figures say 1,210 people have been killed, 13,350 injured and 26,000 arrested during that period.
