A man in his 30s was critically wounded in a suspected shooting attack near Neveh Tzuf, also known as Halamish, in the West Bank, prompting Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) to launch a manhunt for the attacker.
The victim was reported to be unconscious following the shooting.
Initial reports indicated that shots were fired from a passing vehicle toward a group of people who were bathing at a local spring near the community.
Israeli forces began searching the surrounding area for the suspected shooter following the attack, while troops established roadblocks as part of efforts to locate the attacker.
“Numerous IDF troops have launched a pursuit after the terrorist and are carrying out roadblocks in the area,” the military says.
