Ukrainian drone strikes have targeted logistics facilities belonging to Russia’s largest online retailer, disrupting warehouse operations and injuring workers as Kyiv intensifies attacks on supply networks linked to the war effort.
Facilities operated by Wildberries in the south-western cities of Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk were hit overnight, forcing the evacuation of employees. The company’s founder Tatyana Kim said 15 workers were injured in the attacks, which marked the second time in four days that Wildberries sites had been targeted.
Earlier strikes hit warehouses in Tambov and Elektrostal, killing eight people. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the latest operations targeted logistics hubs involved in supplying the Russian military with drone components, navigation equipment and other materials.
Russian regional officials confirmed damage to warehouse complexes, with authorities reporting injuries among workers and emergency services responding to the attacks.
The strikes highlight Ukraine’s growing focus on logistics infrastructure as part of its broader strategy to disrupt Russia’s military supply chains. By targeting storage and distribution networks, Kyiv is seeking to weaken the flow of equipment and technology supporting Russian operations, while Moscow has repeatedly condemned attacks on civilian-linked infrastructure.
The latest incidents underline how logistics networks have become an increasingly important front in the ongoing conflict.
