Hillary Clinton is reportedly making plans for how her husband, former President Bill Clinton, will eventually be laid to rest, as new claims emerge about his funeral wishes, burial site and possible changes to his estate.

Bill turned 80 on Aug. 19, and insiders claim Hillary, 78, has already begun thinking through an elaborate memorial service for the former president.

According to RadarOnline, the service could take place at Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., with a traditional funeral mass.

A spokesperson for the cathedral previously said that all living former presidents generally have state funeral plans prepared in advance, making such arrangements standard rather than an indication of any immediate health crisis.

There is also speculation about where Bill could eventually be buried.

Presidential historian Leon Wagener suggested the former president may want his final resting place to be at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum in Little Rock, Arkansas.

More specifically, Wagener floated the possibility that Bill could request to be buried near the library’s rooftop garden.

The garden is reportedly one of Clinton’s favorite places at the presidential center.

Wagener described it as Bill’s “happy place” and claimed the former president spends significant time at the library’s penthouse suite.

There is no public confirmation that Clinton has made any formal request to be buried there.

Questions are also being raised about Clinton’s estate.

Radar cited insiders who speculated that he may have made changes to a will reportedly worth around $120 million.

Wagener suggested there could be unexpected names included in the estate plan, even floating the possibility that people connected to the presidential library or its gardens could receive money.

No details of Clinton’s will have been made public, and there is no confirmed evidence that any such changes have been made.

The renewed attention comes as Bill’s health history continues to draw scrutiny.

The former president underwent quadruple bypass surgery in 2004 and had another heart procedure in 2010, when doctors inserted stents into a blocked coronary artery.

In 2021, Clinton was hospitalized after a urinary tract infection spread to his bloodstream and caused sepsis.

He remained hospitalized for several days before being released.

More recently, he has occasionally sparked concern during public appearances, with some observers commenting on his appearance or mobility.

Radar also previously reported that Clinton was seen traveling with what appeared to be a portable defibrillator, though there has been no official confirmation of any new major heart condition.

Dr. Stuart Fischer, who has not treated Clinton, previously told Radar that someone with Clinton’s cardiac history could face an increased risk of dangerous heart rhythm problems, especially under significant stress.

Still, there is no indication that Bill Clinton is currently gravely ill, and funeral planning for former presidents is considered routine.
