The Gaza Health Ministry reports that Israeli attacks have killed at least 40 Palestinians and injured 125 others in the past 24 hours. Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s conflict with Gaza has resulted in over 52,000 deaths and nearly 118,500 injuries. Following the unilateral end of the ceasefire on March 18, Israel has killed 2,436 people and wounded 6,450 others in Gaza.
According to Gaza’s Government Media Office, over 3,500 children under the age of five in Gaza are facing severe malnutrition, and approximately 290,000 others are at high risk due to the ongoing restrictions on the entry of baby formula, nutritional supplements, and humanitarian aid by Israel.
Gaza’s Health Ministry urgently needs fuel, warning hospitals are close to running out. Fuel can’t be accessed or transported as Israel has restricted those areas. Without new fuel, hospitals may shut down in three days.
