Monitoring video footage reveals the minute a South Korean fighter jet inadvertently dropped 8 bombs on a civilian location in Pocheon throughout training on Thursday, 6 March.
MK-82 bombs were “unusually” launched by the KF-16 fighter jet and fell outside a shooting variety, triggering civilian damages, the flying force stated in a declaration.
The flying force apologised and stated it would examine why it took place and analyze the scale of civilian damages. It included that the fighter jet was participating in joint live-firing drills with the army.
The occurrence occurred in Pocheon, near the heavily-armed border with North Korea. Pocheon’s catastrophe reaction center stated that 6 civilians and 2 soldiers were hurt and were required to medical facility.
