Jeffrey Epstein’s estate has agreed to pay up to $35 million to settle a class-action lawsuit accusing two of his longtime advisers of aiding and abetting his sex trafficking of young women and girls, according to a court filing in Manhattan.

The proposed settlement, announced by the law firm Boies Schiller Flexner, would resolve a 2024 lawsuit against Epstein’s former lawyer Darren Indyke and accountant Richard Kahn, who serve as co-executors of his estate.

Epstein’s estate previously distributed $121 million through a restitution fund and another $49 million in separate victim settlements.

Indyke and Kahn admitted no wrongdoing, their attorney Daniel Weiner said, adding they agreed to settle “to achieve finality” despite being ready to fight the claims at trial. The deal offers a confidential path for victims who have not yet filed claims.

Epstein died by suicide in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

The suit accused Indyke and Kahn of helping Epstein conceal his crimes through a network of companies and bank accounts. Boies Schiller Flexner previously secured $365 million in settlements with JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche Bank for allegedly overlooking warning signs about Epstein.
