Indonesia and Morocco have pledged to send personnel to the newly proposed International Stabilisation Force (ISF) in Gaza, according to US Army General Jasper Jeffers, who heads the initiative under the so-called Board of Peace convened by US President Donald Trump.

General Jeffers confirmed that the Indonesian contingent will take on the role of deputy commander, marking a significant contribution to the planned force. Speaking at the Washington, DC meeting, he said: With these first steps, we will help bring the security that Gaza needs.”

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, present at the meeting, announced that up to 8,000 Indonesian personnel could be deployed, emphasizing that the mission aims to support peace and ensure respect for international law amid ongoing conflict in Gaza.

Meanwhile, Morocco has committed to sending police officers to assist in stabilisation efforts, with Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita underscoring his country’s readiness to contribute to maintaining security and order in the war-torn region.
