A surge at a chemical plant near Seville sent out a substantial pillar of smoke over the city and triggered Spanish authorities to prompt close-by citizens to remain inside.
Nobody was reported hurt in the event, emergency situation services stated Wednesday.
Authorities advised that regional citizens close their windows to stop smoke fumes from entering their homes.
The surge took place at midday in a commercial park in Alcalá de Guadaíra, situated about 20 minutes to the east of Seville’s town hall.
A thick plume of black smoke formed above the structure which included chemical items. Emergency situation services right away cleared workers from the plant website.
