Ford is remembering more than 148,000 automobiles in the United States as part of 2 different recalls, the National Highway Traffic Security Administration revealed.
Around 123,611 automobiles are being remembered due to a fluid leakage that might minimize braking efficiency and boost stopping range, Reuters reported. The affected designs are the 2017-18 Ford F-150, Exploration and Lincoln Navigator.
According to the company, dealerships must change the afflicted parts, that include the master cylinder or the brake booster, totally free of charge.
In addition, the carmaker is remembering 24,655 2025 Explorer cars and trucks since its powertrain control module might reset while in operation. That impacted part might harm the vehicle’s park system or trigger an engine stall, the company stated. Like the other vehicle parts, dealerships are anticipated to repair the software application issue free of charge.
Owners will be getting alert letters by May 26.
