A Ukrainian guy who just recently lost a custody fight is thought to have abducted his kids and left to Mexico en path back his home nation, cops stated.
Hrant Kolomoeits, 7, and Avaora Kolomoeits, 9, were last seen near their Primary school in Sylmar, California on April 8 when they were gotten mid-morning by their daddy Rodion Kolomoeits, who just recently lost custody of them, according to the Los Angeles Authorities Department.
Authorities think Rodion, a Ukrainian person, is “making efforts to go back to Ukraine with the kids.”
Rodion is driving a 2016 Toyota Prius and was last seen driving over the U.S.-Mexico border at San Ysidro around 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
Hrant is 4 feet high with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen using a green and blue sweatshirt and black trousers. Avaora is 4′ 6″ with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen using a blue t-shirt and black trousers. Rodion is 5′ 11″ with brown hair and gray eyes.
The main language for both kids is Russian, cops state.
Around 200,000 kids each year are victims of household kidnappings, of being taken by a relative instead of a complete stranger, according to the L.A. Times.
