District attorneys make choice on charging French policemans over teenagers eliminating

District attorneys desire a French policeman to stand trial for murder after the death of a teen that caused violent demonstrations across the country.

In a declaration on Tuesday, Nanterre district attorneys stated they had actually concluded an examination into the deadly shooting of Nahel Merzouk, a 17-year-old of North African descent.

A law enforcement officer fired at Nahel in the Paris suburban area of Nanterre on June 27, 2023 after the teenager stopped working to abide by an order to stop his vehicle.

Nahel consequently passed away from his injuries.

Nahel’s death and the video were shared on social networks, drawing prevalent anger and provoking numerous nights of discontent in Nanterre and other cities throughout France.
