As global economic ties continue to evolve, China is extending an open invitation to Spanish businesses to take advantage of its vast market and growing economic transformation.
The message was delivered by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during a meeting with his Spanish counterpart, José Manuel Albares, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
China sees immense potential for stronger economic collaboration with Spain, particularly in emerging sectors like artificial intelligence and the digital economy.
Wang emphasized that Spanish companies are welcome to invest, innovate, and co-develop new areas of cooperation, reinforcing the already solid economic relationship between the two nations.
Beyond economic ties, Wang stressed the need for greater global cooperation between China and Western nations. He called for a united effort to uphold multilateralism, promote fair and democratic international relations, and foster a balanced, multipolar world order.
