The 69th Eurovision Tune Contest will holds its grand last on Saturday night.
The Swiss city of Basel played host today to rivals representing 37 nations. They danced, they sang, they took part in disco diplomacy as part of among the world’s greatest eyeglasses.
Semifinal efficiencies on Tuesday and Thursday whittled the rivals to simply 26 acts. They’re contending for the desired crystal microphone prize.
The finalists are: Norway, Luxembourg, Estonia, Israel, Lithuania, Spain, Ukraine, the UK, Austria, Iceland, Latvia, the Netherlands, Finland, Italy, Poland, Germany, Greece, Armenia, Switzerland, Malta, Portugal, Denmark, Sweden, France, San Marino and Albania.
The contest airs Saturday at 9 p.m. regional time (1900GMT).
