Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has confirmed that he will be sidelined for an extended period due to injury, expressing his disappointment but promising to come back stronger.
Taking to social media, the 21-year-old Ivorian winger shared his frustration with fans, writing: “I’m extremely disappointed to be writing this message. Unfortunately, I will be out for some time with an injury.”
Despite the setback, he remains optimistic about his recovery and determined to make a strong return. “I will come back stronger than ever! Time to support the boys from the outside. Still loads to play for,” he added.
Diallo, who recently signed a contract extension with Manchester United until 2030, has been in impressive form this season. The former Sunderland loanee has contributed nine goals and seven assists across all competitions, cementing himself as a key asset for Erik ten Hag’s squad.
His absence comes at a crucial time for United, who are still competing on multiple fronts. However, his positive attitude and unwavering support for his teammates highlight his strong mentality.
