Six Palestinians were killed and seven others wounded Monday in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, medical sources said, as Israel continued its violations of a ceasefire in effect since last October, Anadolu reports.
Three Palestinians were killed and a fourth was injured in an Israeli strike in the central city of Deir al-Balah, a medical source said.
Witnesses said an Israeli drone targeted a gathering of civilians on Al-Mazraa Street in Deir al-Balah, in an area outside the army’s agreed control zone.
Another Palestinian was killed by Israeli fire in the Muawiya area northwest of Rafah in southern Gaza, another medical source said.
A fifth Palestinian was shot dead near Abu Hamid roundabout in Khan Younis. Both locations are outside Israeli military deployment zones in southern Gaza under the ceasefire agreement.
An Israeli airstrike killed one more Palestinian and injured another near Saraya Square in central Gaza City, a medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital told Anadolu.
Witnesses said an Israeli drone strike targeted two young men inside a cafe, leaving one dead and another critically wounded.
Gaza’s government-run Medical Services Directorate said its teams transported a person wounded by Israeli gunfire following a shooting incident in the Beit Lahia market area in the northern Gaza Strip.
Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital said it received two more people injured by gunfire from Israeli quadcopter drones in the Shujaiya and al-Zeitoun neighborhoods east of Gaza City.
Two Palestinians were also injured by a bomb thrown by an Israeli drone near the Bani Suheila roundabout, east of Khan Younis, witnesses said.
Separately, witnesses reported repeated Israeli artillery shelling in eastern Rafah and Khan Younis, as well as the eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City.
According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, at least 754 Palestinians have been killed and 2,100 others injured in near-daily Israeli attacks in violation of the ceasefire in place since Oct. 10, 2025.
The ceasefire followed more than two years of a genocidal war that has killed over 72,300 Palestinians, wounded more than 172,200, and devastated about 90% of the enclave’s infrastructure.
