Tiger Woods is back in the headlines — and not for golf.

The 50-year-old legend was quietly released from a Florida jail late Friday night after being arrested on DUI charges following a chaotic rollover crash near his home on Jupiter Island. But it wasn’t just the arrest that had people talking — it was how he left.

After spending roughly eight hours behind bars, Woods slipped out of the Martin County lockup through a back exit, avoiding a crowd of waiting cameras despite earlier claims he wouldn’t receive special treatment. He was later spotted slumped in the front seat of a black Cadillac as it pulled away from the facility.

The dramatic chain of events began earlier that afternoon when authorities say Woods was speeding down a narrow two-lane road with a 30 mph limit. According to investigators, he attempted to pass a flatbed truck towing a trailer — but clipped the back of it instead, sending his Land Rover flipping and sliding down the road.

Officials say they’re still unsure how many times the SUV rolled, but described the crash as violent. When first responders arrived, Woods had crawled out through the passenger side and appeared “lethargic,” raising immediate concerns.

Police conducted roadside tests and took him into custody, later confirming that while he showed signs of impairment, alcohol was not involved. A breathalyzer test reportedly came back at 0.00.

Instead, authorities believe “some type of medication or drug” played a role.

Woods refused to submit to a urinalysis, and was ultimately charged with driving under the influence, property damage, and refusal to comply with testing.

His mugshot quickly spread online, showing a disheveled and glassy-eyed Woods — a stark image that reignited memories of his troubled past.

This isn’t the first time the golf icon has faced serious legal trouble behind the wheel. In 2017, Woods was found unconscious in his car and later admitted to being under the influence of prescription medications. He eventually pleaded down to reckless driving and served probation.

Now, nearly a decade later, the questions are back — and louder than ever.

Authorities have not yet confirmed whether Woods posted bond or when he will appear in court. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office has not responded to requests for additional details.

One thing is clear: what started as a routine afternoon drive turned into another shocking chapter in Tiger Woods’ complicated legacy — and this one may not fade quietly.
