China’s Foreign Ministry has called on all sides involved in the US-Israel war on Iran to work toward constructive dialogue.
Spokesperson Lin Jian said the “pressing priority is to actively promote peace talks, seize the opportunity of peace and promote the cessation of the war,” stressing the need to “create conditions for starting truly meaningful and sincere peace talks.”
The statement comes amid conflicting claims from Iran and the United States over whether negotiations are underway, following weeks of escalating attacks in the region that have disrupted fuel supplies and drawn international attention. China’s call underscores growing global concern for stabilizing the Middle East and preventing further humanitarian and economic fallout.
