The Interior Ministry said the officers were killed while performing routine policing duties aimed at maintaining security and order.
It stressed that police and security forces will continue their work despite the challenges, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining stability and protecting the public.
The ministry also described repeated Israeli strikes on police facilities and personnel as war crimes and a violation of international humanitarian law, noting that police stations are considered civilian institutions protected under international law.
The statement called on the international community to intervene immediately to halt what it described as ongoing Israeli attacks targeting police forces, their facilities and personnel in the Gaza Strip.
