Enrica Bonaccorti, one of Italy’s most recognizable and cherished television personalities, has died at the age of 76. Born in Savona in 1949, Bonaccorti had a career spanning over forty years in Italian entertainment, beginning in theatre and cinema before becoming a household name on television.
She hosted numerous popular shows, including Uno Mattina, Storie Italiane, and La Volta Buona, and was celebrated for her warm, approachable style. Bonaccorti also appeared in interviews and documentaries reflecting on her life and work, leaving a lasting mark on Italian media.
A public viewing will be held at Ars Bio Medica Clinic in Rome from today until Saturday at noon, allowing family and friends to pay their respects. Her funeral is scheduled for Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Church of Artists in Rome. Italian broadcaster Rai is paying tribute through special segments across programs, including Vita in Diretta and Rai Storia, reflecting on her enduring legacy and contributions to Italian culture.
Colleagues and fellow entertainers, including Fiorello, have publicly shared their condolences, highlighting her kindness, courage, and professionalism.
