Attorney General Pam Bondi has reportedly moved out of her Washington, D.C., apartment and into heavily guarded military housing as threats against her ramp up — and the outrage over the Epstein files refuses to die down.
According to RadarOnline, the move happened quietly within the past month, with officials refusing to say exactly which base she’s now living on. A spokesperson confirmed the arrangement but urged media outlets not to publish her location due to security concerns.
Bondi is the latest Trump administration figure said to be trading a private address for on-base protection. The report claims other high-profile names have done something similar, as concerns grow over targeted threats — both foreign and domestic.
What’s driving the security panic?
Sources cited by the outlet point to two pressure points: heightened threats linked to drug cartels, and a fresh wave of fury tied to the long-promised release of government files connected to Jeffrey Epstein.
Bondi’s critics have accused the Justice Department of dragging its feet — and then botching what did come out.
The report says the DOJ released more than 3.5 million pages related to Epstein in late January, well after a legal deadline. But the bigger blowback came later, when it was revealed some Epstein-related documents allegedly weren’t made public at all, triggering renewed accusations of a cover-up.
Then there was the redaction mess.
Bondi was also slammed after thousands of released pages were pulled back because they contained identifying details about victims — the exact thing survivor advocates have warned about for years.
In a statement quoted by the outlet, Epstein survivors argued the so-called “transparency” campaign did the opposite of what it promised, saying it “expose[d] survivors” while “the men who abused us remain hidden.”
Did the Super Bowl make it worse?
RadarOnline reports Bondi’s move happened around or just after the Super Bowl — right as a televised public service announcement from Epstein survivors put her on blast in front of a massive audience.
The PSA message was blunt, urging Bondi to follow through and fully release what the government has. One line read: “Time for the truth.”
Is she paying rent?
It’s not clear whether Bondi is paying to stay in the military housing, though previous officials who lived on-base have said they paid fair-market rent.
Either way, the message behind the relocation is hard to miss: the threats are being taken seriously — and the political heat surrounding the Epstein files is only getting hotter.
