Israeli settlers set fire, on Tuesday evening, to Palestinian homes and vehicles in the village of Susya, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, in a continued wave of attacks during Ramadan.

The rights group Al-Bidar said in a statement that settlers burned five homes and several cars belonging to Palestinian residents in Susya, located in the Masafer Yatta area south of Hebron.

The group added that the settlers attacked the village and set fire to houses and cars, causing significant material damage and creating fear among the residents, particularly women and children.

Local sources told Anadolu Agency that the settlers also fired tear gas inside some homes, resulting in four people suffering from gas inhalation.

Around 770,000 Israeli settlers live in hundreds of settlements across the occupied West Bank, including 250,000 in East Jerusalem. They carry out daily attacks on Palestinians, aiming to drive them from their land.

In January, settlers carried out 468 attacks in the West Bank, including physical assaults, uprooting trees, burning fields, preventing farmers from accessing their land, and seizing property.
